						Project Description: 
													The switchgear building is a component of a large electrical infrastructure improvement project for Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. SMP provided a comprehensive Feasibility Study, evaluating 3 different project strategies, including cost estimating and providing renderings of each approach.  The chosen direction will involve demolition of a the original Old Heating Plant building and another damaged addition. An existing portion of the building will remain with a proposed new Pre Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) addition. The addition will contain switchgear, a control room, a battery room, and storage.
